Schemas/FpML

This page contains information on using the FpML (Financial products Markup Language) schemas with XSD.

Starting around version 5.1, the FpML developers crossed to the dark side and started using schema inclusion with cycles that involve inheritance. As a result, the more recent FpML schemas can only be compiled in the file-per-type mode. The following package contain a sample Makefile, XSD options files, and a README file that show how to compile these schemas using XSD:
